This vibrant and expansive show is one of the artist\u2019s biggest and most ambitious projects in her nearly 30-year career. It features major new commissions created especially for AGWA\u2019s unique spaces, alongside other new works and key pieces from across Pivi\u2019s career.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"977\" data-end=\"1349\">This exhibition includes major new commissions created just for AGWA, making it one of Pivi\u2019s largest projects to date. Highlights include a giant inflatable comic cell celebrating human creativity and inspired by the artist\u2019s own journey from chemical engineering to art. This piece even features a vignette by American cartoonist Lincoln Peirce, creator of <em data-start=\"1336\" data-end=\"1346\">Big Nate<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1351\" data-end=\"1648\">Three new feathered polar bears, symbols of our connection to the natural world and reminders of the impacts of climate change, have also been specially created for the show. Visitors will also see large-scale wall paintings, striking photographs, and a dramatic hanging sculptural installation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1650\" data-end=\"1827\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Altogether, <em data-start=\"1662\" data-end=\"1703\">Paola Pivi \u2013 I don\u2019t like it, I love it<\/em> promises a once-in-a-lifetime experience that pushes the boundaries of art and invites us to see the world with fresh eyes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1650\" data-end=\"1827\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><em>Image &#8211; <strong> Paola Pivi<\/strong> Exhibition view, \u2018It\u2019s not my job, it\u2019s your job&#8217;, 2023, [mac] mus\u00e9e d\u2019art contemporain de Marseille.
